Social Facilities

The Centre has proved a very popular venue for social events of all types.

We have hosted: kids parties, 18th birthday bashes, 21st parties, right through to 70th birthdays; engagement parties, weddings, naming ceremonies and Golden Wedding celebrations to name but a few!

Don't forget, parish residents receive a 10% discount on all room hires!

A full day wedding

Book the Scarsdale Hall from midday to midnight, with fully staffed bar and evening disco for 100 at an All-inclusive price of £415

Alternatively hire the hall with fully staffed bar from midday to midnight, bring your own band or disco and have use of our kitchen from midday onwards to undertake your own catering and leave us to clear up, Only £325 (Plus a £50 returnable deposit for the kitchen provided it is left as found).

Evening Party

Why not just hire the hall with disco and fully staffed bar, Only £280

In house catering is available for all events or you can now hire our new catering kitchen and bring your own catering.

St John's Hall

The St John's Hall is now available for smaller children's Parties from 2011 onwards. The Hall provides an ideal atmosphere for children's parties with a warm & friendly environment. The room is available to book at £12 per hour and Menu packages are available for £3.10 per head. For more information Contact Us.

Sport Facilties

The following sports are catered for at the Centre. We have facilities for changing, showering and lockers are also available.

Catering Facilities

A catering kitchen was added to The Arkwright Centre's facilities in July 2008. Should you wish to provide your own catering for social events, this is now available to hire at a cost of £60 (plus a £50 returnable deposit provided the kitchen is left as found).

It also enables The Arkwright Centre to provide a comprehensive catering service for both business and social events.
